Who am I?

I Am From

I am from shimmering stars and gurgling creeks,

Beautiful evenings when the sunshine leaks,

Blackberry stains on brand new shirts,

Smiling faces all covered in dirt.

I am from holding hands on hospital beds,

Shooting down hills on colorful sleds,

Giant pretzels and candy canes,

A baby car collection and small metal planes.

I am from Warrior Cats and White Fang,

Creating a “trampoline ninja” gang,

A fiery blaze and crummy weather,

Great smelling lilacs and jackets made of leather.

I am from tiny gardens that really did grow,

A cup of hot cocoa to make our hearts glow,

An amazing trip to Disneyland to remember forever,

Building small snowmen all through December.

But all of these memories that make up me,

Wouldn’t be complete without my friends and family.
